Zhansaya Amangeldiyeva was born in Kazakhstan, in 1996. She got her bachelor’s degree in Technical Physics at the University of KazNU in July 2020, and her Master's degree in Engineering Technology for Strategy and Security at the University of Genoa in October 2023.

She is currently a PhD student at the SCNL laboratory at the University of Genova.

Her main research topic concerns the Cyber Security filed, in particular anomaly detection strategies and attacker localization algorithms in IoT Non-Terrestrial Networks.
