Biography

Faraz Bashir was born in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1998. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Pakistan, in 2021, focusing on the subjects of antenna propagation and integrated circuits. He received his Master’s degree from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2024. Currently, he is a PhD student at the SCNL Laboratory at the University of Genoa, where he collaborates with Sababa Security SpA. His primary research interests include cybersecurity in automotive environments and network security for Industrial Control Systems.
